Is still a small unknown country in the south of the Mediterranean, often called "the hidden gem." In the heart of the Mediterranean, the Adriatic separated from Italy, in the warm south of Europe, with the freshness of the unknown, this small republic.
Only an hour flight from Rome or Budapest, or one and a half hours from Zurich, Vienna and your Montenegrin adventure can begin.
Ulcinj is located in the south of the Adriatic coast on the same latitude as Barcelona or Rome. Together with Iceland and Hvar it abounds with the most hours of sunshine per day on the Adriatic.
From the antique Illyrian settlements from the Bronze Age to the first written evidence to the Illyrian-Greek war, and so to the present, Ulcinj was a target for both the Greeks and the Romans and an important bishop center with 365 churches (number of days the year) in the cathedral town SVAC.
